It's pretty obvious that the mass airflow sensor has gone bad, because it also says "service engine soon" on the notification thing, a common symptom along with the loss of power (still sufficient amount) and lumpiness. Apparently a $200 fix, could be worse. It was still pretty worrisome on the commute today!

But are your tires still engineered for all four corners?!

Are you sure you don't have jackass friends who didn't just swap in a 350 Diesel and make it look exactly like an L98 so you wouldn't know what's up?

Unidirectional Goodyear Gatorback. (I don't have gatorbacks since they have not been made for decades, but it's a neat name)

Wow, that would be awesome! If I check the codes and it says that's what it is, I'll let you know. How much would you be willing to let go of it for?

IDK how much is it worth? paid $100 for the full TPI system from an 85 camaro. I'm looking to offload the whole system. its in a rubbermaid tote, i had plans to install it on my monte carlo, never did. I cannot honestly say its in good working order. but $100 + shipping for the whole unit seems fair.

I've got Goodyear GSCs on the ZR-1...they bear a striking resemblance to the ol' Gatorbacks.

Will do, thanks! However, the problem hasn't resurfaced so I'll let you know one way or the other. Thanks for your help here.
